Library card and lending rights are free of charge for all users. The library is open to everyone, so you can continue to use the library after you finish your studies or employment.
Your customer's data is stored in the library’s customer register (privacy notice). The library card is personal and once you receive it, you are responsible for the material borrowed and you agree to follow the library’s user regulations. If you lose your library card, please notify the library immediately.
A degree student at Turku UAS: You can get a mobile library card by sending a message from your Turku UAS email to library@turkuamk.fi. Enter your name and date of birth in the message. You will be notified once the mobile library card is ready for use. If you wish, you can get a physical library card when you visit the libraries' during service hours.
If you are not a degree student at Turku UAS or are an other customer, fill in the library card application, come to the campus library during the service hours and take your identity card with you. You will receive a library card, which also includes a mobile library card.
Turku UAS staff: You can get a mobile library card by filling in a library card application. If you wish, you can get a physical library card when you visit the library during service hours.
External customers and graduating students can report a change in contact information using the address change form. Turku UAS staff should contact the library at the end of their employment. The right to borrow remains at the end of your studies or employment if you wish.
You can register the Turku UAS library card in other higher education libraries as well and borrow material from, for example, the Turku University Library and Åbo Akademi University Library. Likewise, the card of other higher education libraries can be registered at the Turku UAS Library.
NB: Turku UAS students and staff can use e-resources acquired by Turku UAS Library without a library card by logging in to Turku UAS Finna using Haka Login.
Even if you forget your physical library card at home, you can still borrow. Everyone has a mobile card in their own account at Turku UAS Finna. Log in to Turku UAS Finna.
