Guide for Library Users

Welcome to the Library!

The Turku University of Applied Sciences library provides information on studying, teaching, research and professional development. The resources acquired by the library can be found in the Turku UAS Finna search service.

Local services and printed materials in campus libraries

In our campus libraries you will find printed books and journals. Campus libraries focus in materials in the fields studied on campus. In addition, the campus libraries have several different facilities where you can study and work either alone or in a group. The library card and the right to borrow are available free of charge to all those who need information.

Campus libraries serve on weekdays according to opening hours and service hours. During the service hours, you can get guidance on the use of the library and on information seeking.

Online services and e-resources beyond campus boundaries

The library's online services are available to you when it suits you. The library's e-resources, such as e-books and e-journals, are available via Turku UAS Finna. Log in with Turku UAS credentials, if needed, no library card is required for the use of e-resources. Customers outside Turku UAS can use most e-resources on-site at campus libraries via the designated terminals.

The library's customer service is best reached through the library's Service Desk - contact us at library@turkuamk.fi.
