Accessibility means having an unobstructed access to online electronic resources.
It means that the resource is equally available regardless of abilities. Challenges related to reading and perception are the most common causes of learning difficulties. However, many accessibility-related properties, such as text-to-speech or webpage optimisations, can be useful for all students during their studies.
This guide introduces what kind of accessibility-related properties can be used with the electronic resources provided by the Turku UAS library services. Here you can find more information on other reading assistive tools and services for people with dyslexia or other learning difficulties.
The guide also provides information on how to use the Celia Service meant for people with a reading disability.
Contact the Turku UAS Library through an online form or by email library@turkuamk.fi.
We are happy to help you!
