Accessibility means unobstructed access to information network resources.
It means that the material is equally available regardless of abilities. Challenges related to reading and perceptional issues are the most common causes of learning difficulties. However, many accessibility-related properties, such as text-to-speech or webpage enhancements, can be useful for all students during their studies.
This guide introduces what kind of accessibility-related properties can be used with the electronic resources provided by the Turku UAS library services. The guide focuses primarily on how to listen to texts. You can also find more information on other reading assistant tools as well as other services meant for people with dyslexia or other learning difficulties.
The guide also provides information on how to use the Celia Service meant for people with print disabilities.
