Mendeley is a reference management tool. It allows you free-of-charge to

• create your own personal reference database 
• import references automatically from multiple databases or PDF files and use the editing mode to add references manually
• add citations in your text and create a bibliography with several output styles available using Cite add-in for Word
• share references with others.

Cite add-in for Word allows you to drop citations into Microsoft Word dokuments. An extension for web  browsers Web Importer helps you add references to Mendeley.
